I've heard mentioned on the boards about different books that explain the 40-30-30 eating plan. I don't know if I got the percentages right or not. But, I'd like to get a book that explains it and helps you make choices on what to eat and when. I've heard people mention The Formula, but I've heard other books mentioned, too that I can't remember. Is there one that you would recommend? Thanks. C.

We generally suggest The Formula, which is by Gene and Joyce Daoust. While I may not agree with every, single thing they say, they do a good job at pointed out the way to make sure 40% of your calories come from carbs, 30% from protein and 30% from fat.

The Personalized 40-30-30 Weight Loss plan gives you everything they others have in one book. The oldest book and the newest book (a maintenance book) are not necessary if you the the "personalized" book... It's the title available here at BB, but you might find it cheaper elsewhere... Smile

I didn't realize that BB had a book like that available. Thanks for your help. C.

Results will vary. Weight loss may be temporary as exercise and proper diet are required to maintain long-term weight loss and muscle gain.
